  • You haven't seen nothing yet....

    Within your lifetime and mine people will laugh out loud if a computer game looks like it might be a computer game. Even the PS3's capablilities have not been used to the full but at the rate technology is progressing this is unlikely even be of any interest.

    They say that technology advances the same amount in the first 20 years of a century as the previous 100; it was true at the beginning of the 20th century (classical to quantum physics adn relativity in a few decades, and believe it or not it's happening now, accelerated further by globalisation.

    When these crude classical computers are eclipsed first by nano-scale devices and then quantum computers, this decade will be viewed with about as much significance as 1900-1910. Physicists have already learned to manipulate information at the quantum level in ways which could only be dreamed of in Dec 1996, hence Quantum Crypography, Teleportation and Computing research which will transform virtual reality permanently.

    I'll probably get a -1 boring for this post but I'm basically saying that arguments about consoles are childish in the extreme. Remember PS1 vs N64? Who cares! Just choose the console you love most and enjoy yourself, afterall that's what life's for. It's interesting that this kinda makes a mokery of the idiotic expression "serious gamer" since if you are serious while gaming you are probably very tired, bored or constipated. Time to put the controller down, come back when you are feeling better, and enjoy the latest technology instead of arguing about it on forums. Which is what I'm going to do. Right now...

    I saw more about it on the internet, saw some trailers and interviews and to me this game is perfect, most people say it will only come out for PS3 but I think it will be playable on the xbox360 too, a bit later, but it will be possible. now the game is really good and it's said that everything that sticks out walls and things more than 2 inches is usefull and so interactive. I think you'll hear lots of more about this game soon. It's also not only a game wich is just to kill people but there's a researched true history in it, wich means that everybody you kill and everything you'll do has something to do with the 3th crusade (1191). I can talk for hours about it but just found it out yourself it's worth it, trust me...

    The game was made for PS3 but there are reports of the game being done up for XBOX360 but dont quote me on that, just what i have read on the web!

      it will be out on the 360. it was in the xbox 360 convention, its a bit like E3 but xbox only. they had the playable demo of it and looked even better than the trailer.

      In the official site you can see the Playstation 3 logo and ALSO THE 360 LOGO, and if you search for the game in Ubisoft you get one for Xbox 360, one for Playstation 3 and one for the PSP

    upon seeing the full video, since i'm incapable of making games, i was hoping or at least wanting to send an idea close similar to this, a combo of prince of persia with the touch of ultimate spiderman and dynasty warriors.

    It seems everyone is a Christian, except for the fact that you can't see the assassin's face. But since he keeps returning to the church for safety and sanctuary, he's probably Christian too.

    And there are many Muslim game programmers, it's not the company that releases a game, but the individuals who actually make it. Programmer and graphic arts designers don't get enough credit. The bureaucracy gets it.

      Some really crappy games have had some incredible trailors. It's all about the gameplay and how well they can incorporate those kinds of graphics into realtime. It would be a hard came go pull off like most people invision it could be. However, I'll withhold judgement since nobody really knows what the gameplay will be like. And as far as the PS3... it won't be better than the 360, probably around equal. But who's gonna want to shell out $500 for it!?! Each system will have its own couple of incredible games, and in the long run, the games make the system.

      PS3 has a lot of catching up to do, but they do have totally advanced drives. It's going to be worth $500, trust me.

      Xbox 360 loses money every time they sell one too, did you know that? They set their prices too low.

      And from what I hear Sony wont be making UBER cheap bundles.

      You know; you can choose the $500 bundle that only comes with the PS3 and a controller, or you can get the $700 one with 2 wireless controllers, a memory card and a free game.

      Maybe Sony is wising up and creating fair bundles or none at all and make people get off their fat asses to try to buy a few games.

      although the $500 ps3 is cheaper than the $600 ps3, it is lacking a lot that an extra $100 will get you, take for example the blu-ray player that comes with the $600 model, blu-ray discs are the next-generation version of the present dvd's and can only be played on a blu-ray player which will cost at least $1000, so doesn't it make sense to buy the $600 ps3 instead of spending over a $1000 just for the blu-ray player that already comes with the much cheaper $600 ps3 that will also allow you to play games? COMMON SENSE PPL!

      actually, even if you buy the cheaper $500 version there is still a way to upgrade it to gain what it loses, however it ends up costing about $25 more, and you get all this cluttered crap around the system. it is totally worth it to buy the better package.

    yeah well knowing Sony, Assasin's Creed will end up with some copyright technical problem and the date will be set back...oh lets say five hundred more years.

    And yes, all games have great trailors.

    I've seen a few snips of actual gameplay from an E3 showing of it. Still looks like one of the best games, graphically, I've ever seen.

    Elder Scrolls Oblivion is still my favorite yet.
